Looks like Belome
This looks like the character called Belome in super mario RPG, he is yellow looks like that sorta and holds a key, you have to beat him in order to get. I dont know if that was the basis of this art work, but its so close its crazy. Anways i love the artwork, Detail is incredible.

The thief makes me think of H.P Lovecraft, and the enviorment of any dungeon crawler out there! Great lightning, colors and overall gritty artstyle!
