I think the animation and the style of this toon was quite suitable for the story. But the humor was just not there. I feel the biggest reason for that falls on the director. Whoever directed this didn't do it justice. There were some scenes that played out way too long, some that should've just been cut altogether. The pacing suffered as a result. That not withstanding, the humor itself just wasn't up my alley so to speak. On top of that, while the sound clarity was good, the voice acting and strangely increasing & decreasing volume of the music threw me off.
