Things like this have to have a meaning....
.... are you trying to emphasize that we as humans, who are really nothing more than foreign stewards of this earth [hence the aliens], need to respect nature? Maybe this is a form of environmentalist propoganda? Or feedback to it?
I really like the surreal style, and I love things that make you think and/or try to figure out the meaning of it. Well done.
rather odd
but cool enough... Normally I'm not quite fond of over-use of the radial filling. But here, it added a certain charm to it. But try to draw a little more. For example, you should animate the haning of the paper better...

Nice work
I'm not much a fan of using the same sprites without adding an "odd touch" to the animation, mostly because it'll overburden you as an animator, but also because the product will be crooked and linear, and ultimately, uninteresting.
However, a very nice work on the tree, and I can imagine the shitload of work gone into this.
I liked the story and the idea. I like trees too.

Very nice
It doesn't load right, but it can be played. Quite a moving presentation of a tree being alive. This is very well done. You also have a very nice music selection. If you fix the loading problem, you'll be fine =^). Keep up the good work!
Trees dont have blood.. but
A very nice move indeed.. and when I first saw the tree.. I was hoping you where about to make this point. Earlier review: "They dont have blood either.". of course they dont.. but how else chould one prove the point.. People has a hard time seeing how trees actually get hurt when you kut the bark.. so the only way to make one see is to give it human features..
