Reviews for "Mocktroid: Disco Mission"

Beautiful!

Simply marvelous, I was laughing out loud through a great deal of that movie. The secret weapon was great. This was definitely one of the best spoofs I've had the pleasure of watching in a long time. Great work, can't wait for the Lost Episode!

eh

it was good and all, cept u copied the SHIP get joke from arfenhousE!!!! anywayz it was still pretty good. well done

Kitmouse responds:

Wow! did anyone else know I did that? I did not! did you know I also copied the game boy player lay out and alot of game sprites? C'mon man, its a parody! I was not only targeting metroid fans, but flash fans as well. you see some jokes from other cartoons in there for a reason. ;) Arfenhouse kicked ass!

Sweet

Extremely gay but yet really funny, keep them coming.

hah

im a fan of the metroid games, and this is a pretty funny spoof of all of them. great job man

16-bit n' 5-bit goodness, but very underrated!

AWESOME! The #1 "Metroid" sprite movie here on Newgrounds. You captured the exact same elements of the remake of the classic, "Metroid" on NES with the Game Boy Player layout. Samus just kept on farting alot and Ridley was just hilarious along with Kraid with a 70s afro! LOL! The graphics were sooooo good almost like that of the actual games, but with a few obviously drawn in images. The storyline is very humorous and clever, and is also very interesting. I was glued to the screen automatically once it started with the GBA style opening sequence! At that one scene with the banana that fell from the sky, it was so predictable to me that it would be the PB&J banana man the first time I watched it! (e.g. "Peanut Butter Jelly and a baseball bat!") Dammit, alot of these great movies are trying to get that song stuck in my head! HAHAHA! THAT'S the secret weapon?! The movie also brought back some memories of when I used to play "Super Metroid" on the SNES back in 1995. Good memories indeed! And the way you moved it from a 16-bit planet Zebes to a B&W 5-bit SR388 was just freakin' awesome! Very good movie but why so underrated? I'd think it would deserve at least a 3.71
