A lot harder than the original.
Very good. I like the challenge; I still haven't completely finished all four rounds without getting killed. Only problem I've found is that the Retry button doesn't restore your lives, just resets you to the beginning with no score and full time. Also, it would be nice if the Retry button after you die completely could work if you hit the spacebar.

Has potential
There are some things u really need to work hard on to make the game playable.
First of all i hate the fact that u can only see one background until u completely moved outa it. In the next background u will get surprised with a new situation. For example u run outa the first screen but then immediately fall into spikes in the second one because u never saw them comming.
Then i thought the music was superannoying. It were good songs but after u died the gamesoundtrack switches immediately to the disco billy jean one. This is kinda amateuristic. Make an animation when u die so u can see what killed u and then switch soundtracks.
Also it was hard to see what were enemies and what were powerups to catch. How the hell are u supposed to see that a cloud is dangerous?
Another point is that when u catch powerups u see gigantic bonuses in the screen which confuse u so u can fall in the spikes again
And last i thought the gamespeed was too fast. I know this is doubtable, but because of the fast speed i could barely enjoy the nice background drawings and other things u implemented. It also made the game extremely hard.
