Confusing game.
Really didn't have any idea on what u had the do because of the controls, but it had some good qualitys.

Objection as a Trekkie
The games great and noone really cares if there's a slight descisy in the timeline, but, it would be impossible to "sneak" through the wormhole because DS9 moniters all activity through it. Great game, more flask Trek games are very much in need xP
Nice 'prequel'
Hey there,
I wrote one of the extensive reviews of your sequel to this game. Since I played that first, I jokingly refer to this as a prequel.
I agree with the previous poster that the later ships aren't as good. Specifically, the Defiant is awesome. The pulse phasers do as much damage as a torp, can be speed fired, and recharge. I've cleared a number of sectors with this ship and even blown up the 1500hp monster ships w/ out much problem. (Though it isn't exciting playing chase with them it is true.)
The ship is also fast so can easily play hit and run w/ larger ships.
Anyway, fun game. There are a number of elements of this game that I think are excellent and would be fun in combination with your later game. Then, I've always loved Taipan and other trading games.

I personaly liked it, being a treky I don't come across games like this everyday but I found it hard to gain enough prestige to get some of the bigger ships, I would have like to get the intrepid class or even the glaxy class but not nuff prestige, you should think about upping the gain of prestige
Fun one
Not a bad game, fun abit slow at first but fun to a point anyways, top view is cool, the ship would be great if it could move faster, You added something extra with this game entry and I enjoyed the gameplay on this one but overall fun game keep it up
