Extremely enjoyable
I must say, this is definitely one, if not the best trance song I've heard on Newgrounds. The lyrics, although I was sketchy about them first (the ones with shitty electronical voices), impressed me greatly.
The constantly changing beat was more than enough to keep an interest. I would honestly expect something like this to be on a cd rather than on Newgrounds (no offense to Newgrounds). It almost reminds me of Infected Mushroom, although there are vast differences.
This song develops an interestingly relaxing mood, then turns it up so you really feel it. I think this will be added to my driving collection. Going on 2 am drives on backroads, getting lost in music and thought.
This deserves nothing more than the best score it can get. I hope to hear more from you, and I'm sure that others do as well.
Astounding skill level and talent
I don't really like that sort of music, especially not trance one, but this one is totally different. Just the lyrics at the beginning seem very cryptical to me ("My father/mother/etc. thank you / And I thank you"- no idea what you wanted to express with these lines).
Your choice of instruments is very good and the melody is strange but addicting.
Yet a bit more diversity in terms of parallel different instruments wouldn't have been bad. Plus I found the part starting at about 6:00 kinda weird because this strange instrument you introduced a bit before (sorry, I don't have much techno/trance/synth knowledge^^) could have been used with the main melody from the beginning to make it way more compact. I do not know how to realize this as I never worked with Reason eg; that are just my thoughts when listening to it.
Anyway, you totally deserve maximum ratings for this title. Out of all the electronical songs it is one of the few that create strong emotional captivation into the music instead of just consisting of lame and standard loops that sound boring and cheap. At least that's how it is for me.
