I get it.
You should discount alot of what people say because if they havent read the author comment they wouldnt know at all. I understand what it is. It helps create a picture in my mind actually knowing what it is. For that I give a 10 because it makes sence for why you made it.
Oriental?
It's a nice concept that you have. The song so far is far from complete, and hence I'm rating it that way.
The only thing I have to say is that... this isn't quite Oriental perse. Oriental tends to mean the eastern Asian countries. This actually sounds more Indian than Oriental. Mainly I think it's because you used a Sitar for your instrument and your beat is similar to Indian beats. Oriental sounds would use something around a Koto or a string instrument, and have half steps here and there.
Not a bad concept, but could use a lot of work.

Typical of many newground songs, the background beat is unchanging and repetitive every 3-5 seconds (author mentions percussion is looped).
I'm not sure at what point the song metamorphs.
Not a bad song, but not a memorable song either.
