Short
It's very short, and you ruined it a little by saying too much in your comments. If you didn't say in the commentary that he has trouble with it because he can walk on water, i wouldn't have seen it coming, and it would have been funnier. It's good though. Wish there was a whole mess of things with him trying to swim somehow.

Yeah, I just didn't want to overestimate people's intelligence. I did change the comments now after a couple more brought it up.
I may re-release it later with a couple more ideas I'm getting and perhaps see how it looks colorized.

didn't get it at firsy but it was funny
nice joke but poor effort.
it was a funny idea but there was almost no color and the characters have no faces. How do i know thats Jesus and not just some bald guy with a beard that can walk on water.

Well, that's obviously the style I was going for. Personally, I like it, which is why I did it that way. You're right though, besides "Jesus Christ in..." in the title and the halo above his head, it could just be any bearded bald dude who can walk on water. haha.
If I really wanted to sit down and recreate a Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel-esque frame-by-frame animation it would have taken a lot longer, and would have had the same basic comedic effect.
