Reviews for "Reasoner- I'm Still Here"

A slow saturday

Is precisely what this sounded like. Superb job, and excellent as background music.

Beautiful

This is such a beautiful piece. The flow is good and it captures a mood/feeling and wraps it with a bow and says please enjoy this. Then you open it and find that it's even more amazing than you could ever dream. My favorite non-vocal piece ever. There is little improvement. A little bit of a repeating line in there but I can't complain because it works and moves. Great song do more songs like this.

Reasoner responds:

Thank you for your kind words. As with most of my improv, I can sometimes get a little bit repetitive. I'm glad it still had an effect on you.

Amazing!

I'm still amazed at your ability to just sit down and write a great piano piece without needing to take any time at all. Your music is great! I'm looking forward to hearing the more complex stuff.

Amazing

This is really calming. I lost one of my best friends in a car accident a couple days ago, and it's been really hard. It was her first day of senior year at high school, and she over-corrected and rolled her car on the way to school. This makes me remember the good times I shared with Amanda Reyes.

This was the first song I ever listened to on here, back before I even had an account. I just picked something at random from the portal listing for that day, as I recall.

It takes me back to being a kid when I didn't even understand the feelings this song made me feel.

It also kind of reminds me of the progression of my adult life so far -- the opening notes melancholy and representative of my mental state coming into adulthood, the loneliness and isolation I'd brought on myself as it were. The transition to the more upbeat segment, analogous to my decision to finally make a big change and my move down to where I could actually get a job in my preferred field, the song building more and more momentum after that like what I'm doing now.

Thank you for reminding me, in more than one way, of how far I've come. How far I still have yet to go.
