What is with these sprite haters?
It doesn't much matter about the char you use, it's all about tweening and actionscript. A movie can be just as any be it sprite, drawn or Van Gogh brilliantly redone in flash as long as it's presented well.
Granted, movies with drawn characters are almost certainly better then sprites in the right hands, but it's not like it's infinately harder.
Say you're char doesn't have a pose you need in the library. You guys can simply draw a new one. These guys have to work with what they have, sometimes jamming all different sorts of sprites to create whole new areas and characters.
So sprite flashers don't sit down for 10 mins and draw a char? so what? it's still an amazing movie.
And those of you who think only twelve year olds say "pwn" don't play D2... But I have to admit, vince, those weren't exactly the mother of all insults.
