It was pretty good im glad that it is not done. Make more monsters, and make sure that you will be able to select from at least 2 different characters

damn
thats pretty cool all in all... however, the old ff battle system could definately improve with a little more speed. I guess I like it because I wish i knew how to code something like that (without spending a month on it).

It was fairly decent for a test run. In your calculations, you might want to put stricter limits so that the damage and healing is more consistant. Ex. 138 dmg then 16 dmg. Battle animations would be sweet as well and I apprectiate the animation for the Fire. Good Job.

To the author: Needs improvement, but is pretty good. I get the feeling you are making this battle syste for your Game of Life flash, what with the cards.
