Hm. not bad.
This is pretty good for a demo im assuming, it could use some work, you said the ending lead you have now isnt what you were planning on using, you might want to keep and just build upon it. I liked it. Overall: 8/10 4/5
Nice intro!
The opening gated synth was nice and there was a nice wee hat loop that sounded good aswell (it could be turned down a touch though).
I've heard far worse things that have been rated better
keep it up an turn it into a whole song!
