Reviews for "Somethin Cute w/ Yun&War Ep. 1"

LOL?

technically it's not copyright infringement if you don't use the material for commercial use of commercial duplication. As the buyer of the tracks you use you have the right to "use" it how you please, and if you use the tracks and add some drums over it or whatever for your own enjoyment, it's not copyright infringement. (That said take in mind it's for Australian law as I'm an Aussie)

Yun, you sound like that Persian king from 300 HAHA, but I love ya stuff!

ay man

i listened to the whole show lol its a good idea man, if u guys are gonna continue with this and if u guys need guests or somethin, get at me before im gonna be busy cuz im up for a guest appearance.

oh and thanks for the shout out i appreciate that man.

as for the sampling issue, haters are fans man. its all good. u makin excellent music so theres nothin to worry bout.

and ill always keep it real with my music, neva become an industry whore. as for that whole mainstream thing, ur damn right, ill back u 100%. for anybody who raps regardless of talent, breaking thru into the game will be like breaking thru a brick wall. thats why im keepin my ass in school and still tryin my best. hell, i got into one of the best schools in my country, thatll keep me occupied for a while.

........BRING THE FUCKIN RUCKUS!

YANGVEROZ NEEDS TO BE ON THIS!

Baaaooow!

I support this!

Like, Baaaoooow!

Word is *motherfuckin* bond.

Ya'll know you stole all of my best tracks from my site and threw some Zelda midi 8-bit patterns on them and call them yours! You bastardz.

Seriously, get the message out there. Episode 2 must incorporate more Baoooow, more topics, more AP craziness, and more smashin' on these cats who think making sampled music is easy. Ya'll got your own style which I have TRIED to learn and replicate...it is f'in impossible. Sure, I can throw some breaks on a video game or classic vinyl loop but the warmth, the flips ya'll do, etc. all too perfect and truly all your own style. I do microsamples, ya'll do microsamples, macrosamples, loops, breaks, complex flips, 3/4 timing turned to 4/4, ambient sample flips, shit the list goes on and on. Keep doin' it, ya'll got me interested in even sampling in the first place. "Run to the Light"...one of the first tracks I fav'ed here for a reason. I support Yun and W-S.

Peace

Lol.

So this is what WS was talkin about...this was pretty funny. Rest assured someone is gonna come and tell you this should be in voice acting, but this is where all your fans are :P so it makes sense to post this here.

Anyway, I agree that sampling is an art form...there's chopping the sample, switching it up to a different key that suits the mood you're aiming for, then adding the drums, EQ'ing, and mastering. People don't really respect the time that's put into these sampling projects...

And as for being the greatest samplers ever in the history of sampling...I'd say you and Spawn are already at the top. I mean even one of the supposed greatest samplers in the mainstream (sorta), DJ Premier, has nothing on you two. He'll take one piece and just make a continuous loop on it, he just has good tastes in samples which got him the respect he has now. You guys do a ton more than that - as Spawn said, you have your own style - and your music is honestly some of the best I've ever listened to in my life. It almost makes me cry sometimes :D

Anyway, funny shit...where can I buy cheetah blood? How much is it per gallon? I need to look into this...

"Metal Gear launches nukes, n***a!"

"THEY DO?! O_O"

lmao.
