hmmm... tough question... and one I've been asked before...
I talked a little about it in the Author Comments already... not sure if I can add much to that. Really, it was hot, I was playing the guitar with no pants on. and the first line just came to me.
A few times now it has happened, where the first line or two "just come to me" and then a whole song will sooner or later be written. Where those first lines come from, I have no idea, but would love to know so that I could be more prolific.
Awesome verbal solo!
I am really impressed with two things about this track.
Firstly, the quality of the recording - I am assuming you laid down the drum and guitar tracks yourself, which is no easy feat! Moreover, the recording is clear and has excellent EQ levels.
Secondly, your vocals! I didn't know you had it in you :) The strong vocals take this clever song to a higher level (sitting somewhere above the 'novelty song', laughing scornfully down at those funny but essentially crappy sounding novelty songs)
The verbal solo is a winner. Awesome.

cheers for the listen and the glowing feedback... I never really knew I had it in me either, until I tried.
the verbal solo would have to be my favourite part of this... writing the song was hilarious but that solo came from some happy place deep down inside... it celebrates the joy of a pants-free existence, somehow... I could feel it.
Even though I love pants...
...I rate this song, it's my fav!!! Fabulous :)
