thank you for a review Amy ! in fact, this track is kinda sad, depressive story about insane man living in old, cold, creepy and mysterious Asylum... the Asylum has some kinda power over this man... the first half of a song is about the man... It's very melancholic part... he is looking trought the window from his room at the Asylum and thinking... about his life, his insanity, his memories... the classical intermission before the second part is the sound of the Asylum... it's going to his head and his mind and making a pure evil from him... then he become completely insane and starts to do things I don't want to talk about... creepy isn't it ?

Amazin

i gotta say this is probably one of the best songs ive ever heard. i think emos should listen to it so they can get over their problems(or not). anyway this is friken amazing. I agree with AmyMation on the depressing to happy.

Such a good song

This is such a good song, the end is just awesome too. It did remind me of a little bit around the end of the theme song to that movie "28 Weeks Later"
Excellent song all around,
Good Luck!

Peace

love it

Been listening to this over and over, i love it, very chrisp, very stylish.

Now that's hard!

The title "Asylum" made me think of insanity as that was what this was bringing on in me. Don't get me wrong, it started out very peaceful, but you knew something more extreme was going to happen. It was the lack of creepy music that made that part scary. I love at around 1:50 when you start to hear those voices. They don't seem to be even singing just moaning in a very soft way. There was stuff like rattles and pages being turned.

Then, at 2:20 it slowly begins its descent into madness. It gets louder and louder as it goes on and appeals more to the insanity of your senses. This is a true work of art given how it kept adding more creepiness as it went on. The loud stuff at 2:56 is most effective and it gets more inane from even there! Thank you for such a great audio piece.
