Don't worry about the fps lost, this still looks incredible like always.
I really wish you soon find a solution to this matter, maybe the metod you are using is not suitable for art. You could ask in the forums of NG for advices or recommendations for this problem, i'm sure someone can help you, i hope it helps.

Gif is extremely obsolete. I'm converting to this format only because of newgrounds and Twitter.
Soon I will try to create Gif directly from javascript to prevent some losses. But anyway it has colors palette restrictions and other limitations
