Reviews for "Tutorial: How to protect!"

Its was ok but wrong

Movies are remade because of not protecting that is true. But as far as submitting it as your own that is just because you can download the .swf and send it to places. So the true way to protect is to just put your name in the corner or something. Also if you don't type in a password during the publishing stage it won't let you guess at all it will just deny you access. Last but not least this is a movie not a game. :)

MakefunNotwar718 responds:

No, people actually steal entire FLASH movies from their temporary internet files and open it in FLASH, then put in their name as if it were their own. I have a FLASH MX book which showed me so. (I doubt you wrote any books on FLASH MX more than just surf NG.com.) You have to choose to "protect from import" so they can only view the file and not edit it. Last but not least, when you submit a movie on NG.com, you have two choices: 1) movie or 2)interactive/game, so therefore, I chose (2) since my file was a step by step interactive tutorial.

Your mix of a silly tutorial and comedy works out well. Not too serious or funny, the voice acting goes well with the animation. It could have more game than movie parts.

meh

how to protect you ask? simple!

have somebody make a good movie that people are going to like and vote good on it.

MakefunNotwar718 responds:

Nobody asked cause I just showed them. =)

Kinda dumb...

That had to be the most moronic tutorial I have ever seen.. well at least it helped the noobs.. wait a minute.. if the noobs dont even know how to protect their shit why should they even bother? Their flash is probably shit and wont get stolen either way! ... Now I wanna give you a 0 but I wont..

MakefunNotwar718 responds:

I was being sarcastic by creating that, Slappy!

Not very good ptotection...

Uh... this doesnt helps against software that is designed to crack flash movies! and example is the "Flash Decompiler Trillix" by Eltima Software. And that makes ripping simple! just copy the SWF source into the application and you can export everything such as Images, Sounds, Shapes et.c and even convert your SWF to a FLA!!!
