That's the whole point to the piece. The beginning is empty and scratchy, then it molds into an explosion of sound.

I dunno if this is really blues, sounds like a mellower form of techno, but I guess that's probably because of the guitar sound being a bit altered. In any case, great job! I like it a lot.
