Reviews for "Intake Part I"

That song was GREAT!!!

The intro guitar was a little weird but other than that it was pretty intresting. p.s.- I also liked the keyboard (Was that a keybord?) at the end. p.p.s- This is the first song of yours that I have listened to. Great song. Keep it up!!!!!

NeverHundred responds:

Thanks. Don't listen to my other songs, they're the worst.

Quite Good

This is indeed quite good. It's a nice dark song, but still light where it needed to be. It is a bit odd, but that is something I like. This has many good uses if given the right material. Your guitar work was also quite nice in this song, everything came together quite nicely. My only complaint was the guitar work at the beginning, it just didn't sound right. Other than that it's perfect.

NeverHundred responds:

thank you. The begginning is just some lead guitar I opened with, but unlike most of my lead guitar I can still recreate it on guitar, so it was something I composed and practiced. I suppose that might sound a little bit off becuase I don't have the greatest recording conditions all the time, so maybe the recording quality is a little differant or off.

Kind of weird.

I enjoyed the guitar of the submission, but a lot of the song sounded weird. A little too weird at some times, but overall it wasn't too bad. It had a real spaces sound to it or just a sound that made it sound way out there.

It had a lot of variety to it so it never sounded too repetitive or boring, but at the same time the amount of variety that you had made the submission sound kind of weird. It's hard to explain exactly I guess.

Overall - An original sound to it and I especially enjoyed the guitar in the introduction. The other parts maybe not so much.

NeverHundred responds:

Yeah, I tend to shirk away from typical guitar scales. But I didn't think it was all that out there... it's just in E Minor. And this was made before I even dared to tread into the realm of off meter beats...

is a nice one

i like those 'space' effects, the rhythm was nice, and had a good different style, i feel the beginning a little simple, but later the song feel more 'complete', i like a lot more the guitar and the space effect, so when you leave the space sounds a lot if felt kind of weird, but even like that the song was pretty good
it has a few static when the some instrument enter, that's something you may fix

NeverHundred responds:

Yeah, preety much you take a choras or pad synth and you bend it, preferably but not nessecarally in melodic and rhythmic way that follows the rest of the song. I used the same technique in later intake songs, and in Skyline March, after a while I sort of stopped using it in my work... but I like it and I should revisit it again in the future.

Great.

This was a very powerful piece of music. The background track was great, it added to the feel of the piece and the guitar was also great. Keep up the good work.

Kind regards -

NeverHundred responds:

Thanks, I'm glad people enjoyed it.
