I quite like the vibe of this. Reminds me of oldschool Omni Trio, or Goldie. It Clips a little bit though. The mastering needs some work.
Also, in each set of 8 bars, the last 4 in each set, I dont like the chord that the "strings" settle to. it doesnt fit with that plinky bell sound and sounds off key. Are you using a sampled Chord? or a softsynth?
Either way, It definitely deserves some kudos! Nice work mate :)

This is REAL Drum 'n Bass!
Unlike what other reviewers have said, Drum 'N Bass doesn't need a catchy melody, and vocals don't need to be clear and understood. You kids these days, you listen to too much Pendulum; you don't know what the fuck real Drum 'N Bass is.
This is it.
If a normal song tells a story, a Drum 'N Bass track is supposed to express one scene. They're basically "moods on disc," if you will. This track does exactly that, with AMAZING dynamic range and a generous stereo field, creative use of vocals for their tonal and texture quality (rather than feeding the artists intent to the listener in words), and EQ and mix layering like a mastering engineer did it. The ambient pads and strings are gorgeous, the piano fits in perfectly, and I believe the vocal is at just the right volume level; the voice is just another instrument, not a leader. Such is the way of much electronic music.
Newgrounds needs to learn when it has a real treasure on its hands. This is one of those treasures.
