Reviews for "§Arbiter§ - Memories of W"

DEJA VU

The beggining made me feel like I was playing Castlevania

Great job!

I enjoyed it very much. I'd love to hear a bit more done with the theme that comes in at 1:20-ish, with the flutes playing the melody and the double-reed off-beat "decorations"; it felt like the piece was just picking up and then up and ended, if that makes sense.

Very nice piece overall. I think you could expand on it and make it even better!

Very good

This reminds me of the music in Ages of Empires, but a little more stimulating to the ears lol. I liked the contrary movements in the brass, followed by a short string to percussion driven part.
If you were looking for a direction to take some sort of project, I'd continue making songs like this and make a concept album. Good work!

very nice

I can imagine a ship out at sea sailing to a battle when i listen to this. nice job. There was a nice touch around :40 to 1:10 with the strings and the low brass.

good job

Little issues

It starts off very well, around :51 it goes off tempo a bit but quickly goes back. At 1:28 it goes from dark to more up beat (at least to me) That part stands out from the rest of the dark mood you set and might go off better if it was done in different instruments or a lower octive.

Arbiter responds:

I do not quite understand the tempo-issue, as I can hear nothing.
This is of course additional to the fact that this is computer-generated and holds the constant BPM of 120. In addition to this, the last part is meant to put emphasis on the varied atmosphere of war.
War is also about loyalty and hope - which the last part is meant to represent.
Thanks for the review and comments!
