Reviews for "Anime Tower"

dubbing isn't bad

Dubbing isn't bad if it's done right. 90% of every animie dub I've heard has been perfect and the voice acting done extremely well. There are plenty of dubbers that can act and I even have a few favorites.

Watching an anime in subtiles is so dumb in the first place. I can't even appreciate the artwork when I'm reading subtitles, especially when characters are talking very fast.

Sometimes I have to ignore the whole scene just to read a very fast paced conversation, which defeats the purpose of animating such a detailed anime....

VirulentShuriken responds:

i like both, but u gotta admit sometimes they have that one voice actor in the dubs that wouldnt fit the character. ive noticed that after a while of watching subbed anime i dont even realize that im reading it. i guess u'd have to have watch alot for that to happen.

SWEET!!

Some people get angry if you give their favourite anime a low rating.. overall.. this is pretty cool.. I am a big anime fan so I enjoyed going through every floor!

VirulentShuriken responds:

yeah, from now on ill consider them all 10's !! :^O

i agree about the dubbing

yep very good, and very informative, even for those with some knowledge of anime like me, and subtitles and original voices is always better. i liked all the cameo appearances too.

VirulentShuriken responds:

hehe, yeah to me the original jap voice actors add much more to the feeling/mood of the anime.

Jamerica.

Think, where should people live, when they are American? Well, I would naturally assume America. Now, take for instance, a growing collection of these Americans, who in no way are even related to Japan, though they somehow manage to think that they are related to some guy named (For instance) "Shoshaku Hirakimome". Now, how do these people just suddenly come to this conclusion that they are Japanese? Well, possibly from things as such. The more they "Know" about Japan's animation, which doesn't even begin to describe even a tenth of it's culture, the more they think they too, can become a Japanese person. So the girls in this growing group, will grow eccedingly long chops, or sideburns, and try to make them self look Asian, by either dyeing their hair pink, orange, or any other color found in the Anime they watch or read. Now, these people honestly do believe by looking at a book, or watching a TV show, that they have become Japanese, and are totally fond of their culture. Unfortunately, they aren't even close. So for them, a new Country must be started: Jamarica.

VirulentShuriken responds:

haha are u talking about Cosplay??
i dont think its wrong for people to dye their hair or do what they like. u didnt really make your point clear, but heres my responce: you dont have to live in japan to enjoy japanese animation. k thx bye! ^_^

How informative!

What an amazing guide you have there. I like the scenery, and I enjoy the details.

However, you didn't include InuYasha in the ratings list. And you completely forgot to mention Outlaw Star and Love Hina.

VirulentShuriken responds:

there are wayyyyyy too many animes to list. the ones u named are all awesome!! thx for the score!!
