I like how you've manipulated your dialogue to fit in with the cutscenes from Max Payne, whilst still keeping Max Payne's style (well, Kind of). I loved the 'insert random metaphor part'. You say you haven't played that far into Max Payne? Then what will happen when you have parodyed(how the hell would you spell that anyway?) all the cutscenes up until the point you have reached in he game? I'm looking forward to plenty more of these... random humor such as the vibrating beretta and coffee cup work for me.
You should give playing Max Payne a chance though, it really is a good, if infuriating at times, game. Then again, if you don't like his random metaphors and philosophical ramblings...
To be honest, I have cheated to complete the game, because I got bored of being shot to death by the Mafia.

i never really finished the game but i knew it was good. it was so funny when u made fun of the "comic strip" movies scenes. exactly like in Max Payne games. relle funny. i putting this in my favs.
I might have to get the second game just for extra movies... hmm...
