Reviews for "Ulbölle"

Nice...

very good movie, the music being the most effective part of it, If you changed the music to some heavy stuff it could be a normal slasher, but this movie makes it seem more..different. well done anyway!!

masterful

Incredible piece of art, wow..beautiful expression, keep it up, many ingrates don't understand art, but ignore the idiocy of social ideals and keep on making great works like this

very nice!

this was really cool! I can't really say why I liked it, but I think it has to do soemthing with danny elfman! ^^ I just love his work! this movie had a little hitchcok touch by not seeing the monster, just it's "work" and shadow! and a little tim burton, and I think that's waht I liked! ^^

well, I would like to see a second part, where you could see the monster!^^

damn fine.

awesome piece...i really loved the whole thing, and the danny elfman music was PERFECT. Perhaps you could use some music from parasite eve in the next one? I think the whole thing would honestly look much better if it were in black and white, to give it this old feel... Also it was a bit morbid, guts wise, and if you were intending it to be creepy you should show less blood, to make it seem more...unreal... if you arent then...i dunno. whatever works for you. but overall it was great.

Disturbingly cruel

This animation makes me feel that we're still living in a sick, lonesome, and unfair world. the music was perfect throughout the whole movie. especially at the end. i like the idea that you made the town from the background looking all crooked. reminds me of those creepy town setup from "THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS".

Foxcato responds:

Thanks... It's actually actually based on a joke Nashua and I created about that town... then one day I said to him: Dude! We should turn this joke into a movie... but make it dark and creepy instead of funny, and he said: I just thought of exactly the same thing. Both Nashua and I are quite big fans of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and were quite inspired by the artstyle used in it at the time...
