Good job but this has been done several times.
I wrote code for the exact same game over a year ago to see if I could make a better version of a flash game that copied another flash game. I can't believe you think this is a new idea..!
Mine actually shoots. I'll probably finish it up now and submit it just to show you it's not a new idea.. This isn't to say you shouldn't make it. Yours could be awesome but it's nothing new.
Criticism is welcome, but could you at least TRY to be constructive. Please feel free to share some URLs to show me the things to which you refer.
I never said controlling the body and turret of a tank independently is a completely new idea; obviously, there have been tanks in games before. I said I have never seen anything like this in a Flash game and that I made it from scratch.
My tank shoots as well, but I disabled shooting because it is not finished.

Thats a pretty good idea.If you finish it it will be even better.Pretty good movement.It must be pretty hard with the actionscript for that.

theres no chaos no destruction no death to all things good and very little speed you also need to make bigger play areas and maby a versis game are time trial.

make it blow up stuff, plus the tank was too slow (tanks are pretty fast in real life)
