Reviews for "RPG Tutorial"

That was great and very helpful

THANK YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have looked at tutorials everywhere and they all said the same thing. but they didn't help me at all. This was put into a sytle you can understand better than reading text for hours looking for the one that works. thank you.You should make more of these

Exactly what I was trying to do. Have fun.

Excellent Tutorial

First of all tutorial wise this was a very good tutorial with a nice animated person to guide you through, actual showing the steps iwth words and animated drawings, the ability to go back and forth, answers to problems you might face and nice background music. Also information wise its nice to see something new, all the tutorials that are posted (that I've seen atleast) are all how to drag objects, how to use sprites, makke a loading scene over and over again, nice to see someone teaching more complicated stuff.

the jumping doesen't work

but good tutorial anyway.

theres just one problem <(-_-"<) when i right click ground and go 2 panels, theres no instance option... think u could help meh here

Everblayde responds:

If your using a MX Flash the instance is probably under properties.

Concerning naming the itemslot

Hi, I tried out your tutorial and the first part went well (I'm trying to make a bird's eye viewed game so couldn't be bothered about the jumping part :P), but at the second part I think there's a flaw? I eventually got it to work, but at the point where you say that you should name the itemslot -> 'itemslot1' it doesn't work, so I did some testing and named it 'itemSlot1' and with the capital S it does work. So yeah, maybe it's just my computer or you just mistyped it or something. Thanks for the tutorial, though, it was really helpful! :)
