I understand the concept of chorus, but that is all I heard
This song did not grab my attention
It did not make me want to listen to it until my ears fall off
Honestly, it was a forgettable experience, I can say without a doubt I could find 5 more songs that would be interchangeable with this one.

I wanna hear more DYNAMICS. Soft is nice, but adding in some powerful orchestral chords (Cello for example) would have gone a long way
Also, if you are going to incorporate rain as a theme in the beginning and end, for god's sake carry it throughout the piece. Add in lightning strikes at climax moments, use rain sticks, I don't know!!! But those kinds of elements are all or nothing, use them throughout the piece or not at all. As it feels useless just tacked on at the beginning.
And a little variation in the piano would go a long way.

This song is absolutely incredible. i understand completely about your band explenation. I know how hard it is to get in a band and keep it together, as there are always rivalries and conflictions getting between everybody. This song definately goes with the type of video that you were talking about, and i can see it taking you a long way. keep making more!
