it's a good tutorial. but i think you should put some more in the add-ons section, as this would still be a pretty basic game. but nice tutorial. keep going

Everything worked fine except when I was on the health part. Instead of the Health going down it just said NaN

As far as I could get it was good, but when it came to the health I couldn't apply the action script to it.
One question
Great tutorial, but I have one question - how do I make the game end when I loose all my lives? Because the lives just end, there is never a game over screen or anything.
