Disturburations
or somesuch. Wowza. I remember reviewing your Lord of the Flies some months and months ago... and while it was unique and strange and wonderful all at once (and a bit more colourful than this one), it can't match the intricate and somewhat unsettling mastery of Los Dias Sin Dias.
From the way the kid walks, massively pigeon-toed... to the way those eyes are completely ringed with circles... encompassed.
At first I was expecting some sort of Red Riding Hood type thing due to the "monster" (instead of a wolf) being in the bed and all, but it was so much better how it turned out.
I particularly liked the dance scene and all its whimsical spinning and the constellations... and finally, the heartbeat at the finish was kinda jarring, but in a good way. Love the Jacob's Ladder quote and all the style that your simple credits have. Great job from first frame to last. Wonderful.
