I dont like video game covers..
I'm actually really against it, but this one shines out above all others. Good mix of guitars and basic metal put it out as more then a fricken video game cover song. Hell, if i didn't know that ir was just that, I would be way over my head moved by this song.

Mario + Rock.. The 9 is for the wind in the back-ground that was a little annoying but didn't ruin the song.

When I use to have to play the ghost houses in the Mario games the music and silence always creeped me out and this song is full of nostagilia for me and I really enjoyed how you made it a tad bit less creepy and more heavy than the original and I love that a lot. Very nice job you did here.

Brilliant.
love the intro and progression. could use some slight detail work (such as the lead entrance that sort of cuts in abruptly aswell as being a repeated recording instead of separates)
the drums need to be beefed up a little. snare could use a little more oomph at 200-600 hz. 2-3 dB at most should do it.
other than that, I love what you did here! a new favorite for me which is far and few in between.
