this is definitely my favorite song from halo 3. you need to use waaaaaay more violins and harmonies in the lower register. Also, the name of this song is "Heroes Also Fall" and its the second part of the "Black Tower" track on the soundtrack. tough to find. I want to see a 2.0 in the works, cause this can definitely be improved, but good job so far.
Well , I chose this name beacause of the feeling I gave the song. I wanted it to sound like you will never forget your hero. But I don't think the song name is called Heroes also fall . Because on my soundtrack cd and on bungie forums with Marty Odonnel it is called Never forget. Still , glad you like it. But I will not remake this one.

it has a pretty epicly sad feel to it.
I think that is what makes this type of song stand out the most. A picture of someone losing their best friend in a battle or even some one stepping up and giving their life so that others may live. Great song here.

its good, but im not a very good judge of this song because i've listened to nintechno's remix of this song too much and my expectations are a tad bit high. though the part at 1:15 was really good. (yes im reviewing while listening)

So you gave me 8 because your asking me what progs I used ? Usless review. Though I'm gona tell you. I used EWQLSO Silver and Gold Edition. A Yamaha DX7 keyboard connected to my soundcard in the midi port. Cubase SX as a Main sequencer. Then I mixed it with various tools , but mostly the ones in EWQLSO .
Then I saved it as a WAVE to not get any compression loss. And I mastered it in cubase using Izotope Ozone 3 and Eq:ing it slightly.
Good remake
This is well done for a remake of a halo 3 song. Although this isn't my favroite song from the whole soundtrack of all 3 games and more violins could of been added it is still well done. HALO 3 FOREVER!!!!!
Well , it's a matter of taste. I thought it didn't need more violins , so I didn't put more of them in the song. I think that Brass gives the song the feeling I wanted.
