on a side note: his real name is John, his rank is Petty officer (forget which class), and he is Spartan-117, he is the Master Chief because of one training mission he did when he was younger..... WOW i read the books too much

Hehe yeah I know that his name is john too :) You didn't have to read the books to know that , since it says so in the manual of Halo: CE :)
But I've also read fall of reach. I have the other two books but I haven't had time to read them :) But they are great.
