love it!

As I already told you, I really like the song, mainly because of the feeling in it and the cool instruments :)

=] will do but imma have to send em as media files. i didnt use fl studio for this 1

interesting :)

this was pretty cool, i gotta say. pretty well made and nice elements went into this song, but heres some constructive criticism and comments in detail:

the flute was very nice, the melody entrancing and mysterious and pretty convincing. i think it would do well bet louder in the mix in some points though, because as the rest of the song intensified it got lost sometimes.

i liked the string stabs, which you hear a lot in arabic music. though i wish they were stronger and had some lower notes layering over them with maybe some reverb, because they were a little too dry and didn't jive with the rest of the elements of the song as well as i would expect.

i dont know what that heavily pitch-bendy instrument is, but its great with the theme of the song. sometimes it bends too much though, and when they are played at a more rapid succession, they blend together and muddy a little bit much. clear that up and it would sound even awesomer :D

the ethnic percussion was very nice too. very intense, realistic, cool. but, keep in mind that a person would normally play these, so introduce some variation into the arrangemnets--it seemed like they looped too often, like every bar instead of lasting into longer, more interesting arrangements. that loopy feel just kinda gets boring sometimes. try to make it vary in volume and arrangement a little more and itll sound clutch as the song goes through

and i kind of agree with neodrummer down a few reviews from here--the ending was a good idea but production-wise, it let down the rest of the song and ended too early.

finally, some of hte transitions between beats, for example at :39, were rough--try to work them in in better arrangements--maybe go into a rapid roll of drums and kick it off with a bang--don't just make it fade into the background, it sounds kind of dubious lol.

overall, the individual elements of the song were AWESOME. but, the way you put them together could use some reworking, though i think otherwise this would be pretty awesome. good job! i like i like.

and its only fair to review back B]

Geigamg responds:

Haha thanks alot wow, lol im still really noob at making music soo ^_^". I see where your going with this and i agree i need to diversify the percussion alot more =S. Same for the muddy areas, Btw that bendy sound was a Sitar *string instrument =P.
This was more of a demo that anything else seeing if ppl would like the idea and imma prolly concentrate alot more on this genre thanks to all the good reviews im getting =]. I'll take a look at your stuff when i have a bit more time =].
Thanks alot for your time ~:{DW}:~

Wow.
To tell you the truth, I like classical/different music every now and again. This was great!
Thanks for showing it to me.
The flute is fantastic. Really good job on that.
The drums were perfect. I didn't find anything wrong with them
The, I'm guessing Simpura sounded good as well.
