First off, the killer was the only one to have a mini gun at the beginning in the first place. Everyone had machine guns. And 2nd, I think you're taking it to serious when you question his purpose in trying to make friends with a Clock. IT'S A CARTOON! Plus, the criminal with the shades IS CRAZY!!

Very nice, and awesome ending.
Many of you say that the killer swapped places with the reporter. Seeing as how the SWAT guys came and got him I don't thnk that's very likely, unless they're dumb enough to overlook a dead body on the floor.
My interpretation of the ending is that YOU ARE THE KILLER. You are a madman who halucinates an interview with himself after his murderous rampage. Well, that's just what I think. I'm a sick and twisted soul like that.

I'm impressed that you're the 2nd one who has thought of the 2nd alternate perception of what the ending is (The "talking to yourself the entire time" way). Well, if you'd notice, the first thing that happens after the title for the closing scene, 'What the Hunter Becomes', shows a hand grab the shades off of a body that's sitting in a chair, which is really the killer taking back his favorite glasses. The Swat guys grabs the lifeless body, assuming that the criminal has accepted his fate and is being cooperative in the transporting of him to his lethal injection. Just to clear things up.
And as goes with sick and twisted soul, you're certainly not alone.

First you got a great action scene with gun-fire and lots of explosions and shit and then you ease it down with a lot of dark humor. Nice combination
