Reviews for "16-bit Everquest"

Nice!

I play everquest myself and I think it was nicely done.. You have potential, you need to exploit it.

potbellybob responds:

I did not expect anyone to give me a score like THAT!!! Thank you! It's people like you that give me confidence. Thanx for the review my fine fethered feline friend. No harm intended.

I thought it was funny...

and i never even played everquest. i think you have potential, and your future work will be worth looking out for. (make me glad I said that)
I think you could develop your characters with a sequel, and then set out to make a game, where instead of just clicking NEXT you could choose some responses, kinda like that Ray pt1 game. (shrug)
good try though, keep at it.

potbellybob responds:

Thank you! Yeah -- I could have different outcomes for different choices! I think I'm on to something here. Now -- What to do for graphics... (shrug) I'm still taking notes... Thanx for the review!

pretty good

I liked the idea, although you really didn't get a feeling of EQ... I liked how you used RM2K to make it... heck, I think you should just make a cinematic in RM2K and use THAT! Acutally, Where DID you find that battle midi? (I collect midis and would love to know). Thanks for replying if you do... if you don't... I'm gonna have to send you in an eternal pit of... um... stuff.

potbellybob responds:

Nah, neither did I. That's just not the stuff you do in EQ. I guess it's just more of what it'd be like if EQ was 16-bit. Eternal pit of what? hehe... Thanx for the review!

Hmm..

Nice flash, but sadly with all the RPGMaker2k sprites and such, there is no real suitable way of doing what you had planned, but nice improvisions

potbellybob responds:

Exactly what I was thinking, actually. Taking advantage of a old RPG Maker will never pay off. But then again, it gets the job done. Happy Thanksgiving!

nice

No real criticism here, exept maybe make them move a bit...otherwise great movie.

potbellybob responds:

Thank you! You really think it's a great movie? Actually, someone gave me this idea. He got horrible reviews for his movie, but I guess I did a bit better.
