Excellent
This is a very good flash movie, but it is seriously lacking in the sound department. However, I have a question: Did you model the character Mike after Mike (I think that was his name) from WinBack? I guess what gave me the idea was the blue vest.
Actually, all the characters are based on friends of mine in real life. Their characters are just generic soldier designs. I used Counterstrike as a big reference, especially for Mike's outfit.
yes..yesyesyeyeyeyeyyeyeyeyeyyes
'command aknowledged' lol. great movie man, y did u hesitate to release it?
I dunno, I guess I just didn't think people would like it. Since it's all inside jokes, and the animation isn't particularly good, I just never thought it would really work if publicly released. When we started making TH: Operation Phoenix, we planned from the beginning to release it when it was finished, and that influenced alot of the design choices we made while making it. I was mainly releasing this new one to show people what Operation Phoenix originated from... but so far the response has been a lot better than I expected. Anyways, thanks for the review!
Thought that was gonna be utter crap..
..but that turned out bad-ass. What wasn't all flashy in visuals was made up for in style and humor; that baby scene was hilarious. Great job, I'll have to check out your other works sometimes soon, too. Great job, funny stuff.
Great!
I didn't think it was going to be funny at first, but that was great stuff.
Was that the theme from duckhunt at the end? I know I heard that before!
Mike
Actually, it's the theme song from Pacman. :)
