Really fantastic, can't say enough good things about it. I love the expression on her face, and the posture of the cat like it truly is being 'snuggled.' It's interesting to see an animal in your style, and I think you handled it wonderfully! Great work, Joe!
Well, that was the main trouble: I have already used the girl w/ cat combo. Deciding what I was going to draw for this turned into a real bitch. In the end, I decided to try something that people would expect (and probably, like) to see from me. The "Modern Art" approach was what made this subject work for me.

I didn't know it was also called like that! It seems that trend was called different in each country. Here in Spain, we call it "Modernismo".

I am so disappointed in you, I don't really know what I'm looking at in half your drawings. Use your talent and draw less curvy more straightforward pictures at least.
Oh Gawd, there goes all my art career...
I try hard to make my drawings as "understandable" as I can, but I take risks often to make them stand out, and I suppose they don't work for everybody... (I mean, there are people which like them, but still I'm trying to improve myself... I'm not that satisfied with my work yet.)
By the way, why did you have expectations so high for me?
