I'm glad people are pointing out how bad older games really are.
I never understand how people can say that the classics are the "pinnacle" of gaming.
To truly compare a game like Pong, Atari, or even the original NES games to things like Grand Theft Auto, or some of the most visually stunning games of today which have enthralling stories and the visuals needed to back them up, is just rediculous.
The classics are just stepping stones to get to where we are to day, just like the games today are stepping stones for where gaming will be tomorrow.
I hate old-schoolers. Get out of the past. Those games are gone, and they're NOT that great.
And no, I'm not 12. I'm 22, and I'm part of a development team in a private college course dedicated to the design and creation of video games.
