A review for you...

Right, the introduction is sounding quite promising. Although that piano sounds a little basic to me. I think it maybe could have worked better as a different sound playing that tune. The ambient background pads however are spot on. Really deep and give this piece alot of thickness. I'm a fan of the main synth. It works nicely.

Perhaps the drums could have been a little louder? I think that towards the end especially, you really need those powerful drums to give it a bit more of a climax. It's a very happy tune, it's well organised and maintains interest until the end.

Over it's a good song. Good work.

<3 (Show me teh L0v3!)

Excellent intro pad, but when the piano began to play, I found it a bit to "casual", if you know what I mean. It sounded a bit out of place in an ambient song :/

Drums were good, coolios done. High synth was sounding blastingly well, giving the song a special touch.

High piano entering was a bit subtle and I liked it!. Waah, nice wind pad and stringy/synthy intermission, though I expected you to be somehow working to more of a climax (but that's not really ambient-ish I guess).

More kick drums in the ending of the song - kinda liked em. Only wished they would be more (= longer) in the tune.

Outro was smooth.

There ya go! One louzy review from someone that doesn't know anything about ambient : 3. Thought I'd repay you the favor, as you reviewed some of my stuff when I asked you about it (which was like half a year ago lol). I like your style and your original intake on the ambient genre.

I call on your spleen!

Sooothing....and wet lol

Well At least in the beginning, then it dries up near the end. Very nice I like it. I can see this tune in so many flash movies and games. Hopefully people can see what I hear or hear what I see, um I think thats how it goes, well anyways you know what I mean. I would say its pretty original tune. I say keep doin what your doin cuz ur doin great.

On another note: BBQ CHICKEN 1 :P

Meaningful

The song had are real nice "arc" to it. As in, it started off gentle, reached a "climax" then fell and faded. And yes, I do get my kicks from applying literary terms to music.

The song had a real strong sense of meaning, in that it awakened a feeling and stirred an emotion. It was deep, you could say.

The dripping sound effect in the background was a great touch! Good thinking...but then again, melting snow kind of gives that idea.

I liked the strings/percussion throughout the song. The piano, I think it was a piano, might be a guitar by a stretch, did a good job keeping the refrain going, and providing a repetitive background sound. The backup parts in general were well done.

While I am impressed and pleased with the song, it's getting an eight because I hold that you have to reach for the sky and hit the stars with a song to get a 10, and you have to be well past the clouds to get a nine.

I have to stop using confusing metaphors. I'm crazy, don't listen to me. What I'm saying is, while this is an excellent song, it's not perfect, and therefore not a 10/10.

Hmm

I guess I'll be the first person to say that I actually don't like it. Technically you are a master, but I just can't get into the groove of this song. I dunno what it is. The lead synth is too shrill for my liking, and it gives me a headache even at low volumes. And I find it too repetitive.

The variation and progression are perfect, and I can get the whole spring ambiance from this song for sure, you did a great job of translating the feeling through the sounds. The water effect is also really well done.

I hate to say it, I really do, but I just can't get into this song ;[ It's not that it's not my 'type' of music, because this and trance are pretty much all I listen to at the moment, and I've listened to a LOT of it. I'm gonna give it a 7 because technically speaking it's very well put together, but the shrillness of the lead, and the fact that I just didn't really like the melody to be honest with you. The background was good but the lead got on my nerves.
