Wow, appreciate such kind words man, really truly do. I put my emotions into my creations, and I just hope others get it, glad you do. Please check out my others if you get the time.

Great water ambience

I know I've said this in many of my reviews (if anyone has SEEN any of em :P) but the best way I can rate a song is to look at it in video game terms. In my opinion, the music is what makes or breaks something like a movie or video game because its THAT important for setting the mood of the game and makes you want to keep playing. if the music is bad, it stands out and annoys you, taking away from the experience.

This was a great soothing piece. It IMMEDIATELY made me think of the underwater theme and area of the first Metroid Prime game (imo, the best of the three) would have REALLY fit in well there with the slower beat, and trailing notes.

Music like this was designed to truly enhance visual work and really make it something worth remembering. Music like this is more important than the work it is put into most of the time, because without it no one would stay to finish the game/movie, but the music makes you linger, makes you wait those few extra seconds it could take to draw you into whatever it is the music is a part of. If the music is that powerful, than it is worth the listening alone to stay for the whole piece.

In order to give you my opinion..

I'll need to tell you a bit of a story.

I RP, and one of my characters is named Razik. Razik is a spartan woman, an oracle to be exact (a little bit of a rip-off from 300, I know. Don't judge ^^;). Now, one day she was kidnapped and tortured, blood was forced into her system, and she was turned by some magic or maybe the blood into something not human. She is not a vampire, nor Carpathian, or any normal blood sucker as far as she knows. Now, so many years later, there's a man she's just met named Armand. She's drawn to him, not knowing why. She doesn't love him, she's not even attracted to him physically. She simply feels the need to stand by his side as often as she can. Not out of loyalty, nor friendship. Just because.

Until now, I didn't even know why she was so drawn to him. Your song inspired her death.

There's another man named Avoral. He's got what he calls the 'Sight'. It allows him to see things that no living being should see. Disturbing, hellish images that would drive one mad. He even carved out his own eyes to try to stop it. Razik will put herself between Avoral and Armand to save Armand's life. In doing so, she gives her own. Her split second reaction to place herself infront of Armand is her realization. She realizes that she was drawn to Armand because she felt his death approaching and she had the ability to stop it.
This song makes me see that split second in slow motion. I see her thought process and her panic, and then the relentless calm that comes with the decision.

In short: Inspiring.
