Should I? Wouldn't it be boring then? To know what you will listen to eventually? I find that Dad 'ne Me could use some Metal. Maybe not as much as in this song but in general I think it's good idea and refreshing at the same time.
Maybe you should read the descpription as well to get a bit more out of it? I don't know. But it's all cool, I can understand your view there. Though, I have mine as well. ;)
Thanks for the review!!
Wow
this is awesome man! time you got a record label for this :P
Naa, guys like Metalcan, Metaljonus, Xenogenocide and a lot more do much better stuff than what I can come up with. Would be cool to the signed but I guess it will always be just a hobby of mine. But hey, it's cool that people actually think it could go there. :)
Hmm
Not bad. First let me respond to what 'TheLoneReviewer' had to say.
He criticizes the intro of the song, and calls it dull/ stayed within range/ too repetitive. - Hey, it's an intro. Many many intros have that sort of structure, it's called PROGRESSION. In fact, the whole song is kind of built upon that riff. The catagory of this music *IMO* is progressive groove metal. Ever hear of Redneck, by Lamb of God? Very similar structure. The word powerful in music, is purely opinionated. Some people think Metallica is powerful, where's I prefer Progressive Death Metal, like Meshuggah. Don't ever tell someone that the song 'isn't powerful'.
Anywho, I felt that the song was rather decent. The solo came in at the right time... but I'm not exactly sure if it fit in with the 'doom' feel of the song. It wasn't bad though. I can visualize Dad 'n Me when I listen to this song, especially with the sound-bytes. Kudos!
Ahh, finally somebody that knows his waters. Very good explanation there! Couldn't be better in this case.
Glad you liked the song as well! :D
wow :D
Loved this!
The dad part is the "serious" kind of music, the kid one is more childish , just like it should be :D
Congo Rats :D
good one
Shame on drums!
