CONTROL YOURSELF
contorlled
This song feels like it's telling a story. You have the opening establishing the setting of the song and building up tension for the rest of it, which is pretty intense throughout. Even the slower parts and all the little minor variations (like the part where it skips the section with the five dotted quarter notes or whatever) add on to the story. The ending adds an entirely new motif/instrument, which usually isn't the best idea, but here it's incorporated really well and fits in perfectly with the varied nature of the song. Overall, this song is outstanding, not just in the Control series, but in Waterflame's discography and the Audio Portal as a whole.
