I found this to be a good picture. I think the main reason is because it is a pretty original design. There really were a lot of things submitted the first day of the art portal, huh? At least, I think this was the first day. It reminded me of the fire people from "Adventure Time". Fire had to be the intentional theme at least.
I guess you could have used a background. Of course, I'm probably just sweeting over small stuff. It looks like this guy is wearing a skirt or something. I don't know what thing on his head is. It is a "he", right?

I like the little character you have here, love the flame like "HAIR" The whole canvus size could be larger and bigger and you could really draw the character with more detail showing and such, I like the character its cute, but does need to be a bit larger, anyways nice job.
