i'm confused..... I understand your trying to say that movies w/ sticks in it are voted unfairly. But, you never said that in your flash movie, just in your authors comments. excellent!

Alright, I understand what your saying and it is justifued, but not everybody does that. I've never made flash, and I probably suck at it.
That doesn't mean that I have to give good scores to people who I know aren't even bothering to make an effort. Repetitive stuff is more likely to get blammed unless it's really good (Stick Fight, Sprite, Skating)
I only think it's wrong to not even fully view a movie and blam. You can't use a scapegoat of not being able to have an opinion because you've never made one before. I've been here for a long time and have viewed the best and worst of portal. I know what's good and what's not, I don't need to make my own flash to learn that.

You raise some good points, but...
Please keep in mind that when it comes to stick figure animations, most of them are pretty redundant. We tend to see the same, heavily rehashed scenarios again, and again, and again. Stick figures slay one another, en mass. Stick figures get flung against various shapes and die. Stick figures throw energy shots at one another, blowing up a number of different crudely animated objects. And yes, I've also seen way to many stick figures skateboarding. So unless the stick figures present something totally different and potentially brilliant, it's really not worth having on the site. Unfortunately, most beginner animators go with the stick figures and cram the portal with them -- and I do realize some highly developed animators will use stick figures when it suits their purposes, those tend to stand out from the rest.
I'm not one to blam clock crew just because they're clock crew, however, I myself am not particularly fond of the style which is becoming their staple. Sorry, but the overly computerized voices are like nails on chalkboard to my ears.
Also, I never blam a sprite animation just because it is a sprite animation -- hell, I typically enjoy sprites. Does anyone know when SplashKat is going to come out with another episode of FFF?
I don't go by the animator, I go by the animation itself and if it holds up to the standards of what is good and what isn't on Newgrounds.

thanks for the reveiw, and i agree with you to a certain extent, allthough some people do not realise that it takes alot of time and effort to make flash and become good at it. artists like legendaryfrog wer'nt good at flash overnight it took them many hours of work possibly with stickmen etc to become good at what they do, and that is what i wish to do too.
