Lots... and lots... of work. Heh.
I did most of the characters seperate from Flash in a 3D animating program - same with the backgrounds. I lose a bit as far as video quality goes, but I gain a lot in what I am able to do with the characters and the action.

I think I wet myself! Keep us updated on the status of the movie though, I want to be able to see that the second you put it on the portal!

The movie uses 3D rendered graphics for most of the characters, thus it’s not vector based like with most flash movies, so it’s not quite as clear as you usually see. It does, however, allow me to do quite a lot more in terms of special effects and camera angles.
