Reviews for "Didn't Catch The Hearts"

Well played my friend.

I love the chord progression; that 6-1-4-5 is very unique, especially with the major 6 in the 5chord.

Sounds great man. I feel like somethings missing, but this song definatly has the potential to be amazing.

Well played...Well played.

Great job!

Electronic usually isn't my favor, but I really enjoyed this track. I love the part when the the percussion first joins in with the classical guitar. I also love the intro, very simple, but full of feeling. The only thing I think would improve this is if you keep the guitar going throughout the part when it is solely percussion, just change it to fit the drums, and let the drums tune it out slowly until the end of the song. But like I said electronic music usually isn't my choice of music. Still I give it a 10/10, great job.

oooooooo

It meshed very well. I wish I could play an instrument, but I guess the mouse is the life for me lollers. I definately agree with Sanxion about the high frequencies, everything sounds low. Something else about the audio portal is, the higher your score, the lower it will be tomorrow lmao. Damn 0 voters.

Impressive percussive work

My initial thoughts: The variation is superb. This song morphs. The chords all fit in together and the guitar sounds ethereal in a way. The percussion arrangement is top-notch.

Nitpicks: Production quality and compositional skill is what I'm always looking for in a song. The percussion sounded a bit low-fi to me. It's missing some frequencies, especially in the mid to high range. Guitar aside, the whole track sounded like that. Also, the guitar gets drowned out when the heavy stuff comes in. Get a compressor and you can bring some of those weaker dynamics up to the front without disturbing the rest of the mix with loud pluck noise.

Overall, an enjoyable piece that I was able to listen to a few times without losing interest. Thanks for your review :)

Thanks for the awesome review. Honestly the guitar drops out under the drums. after the 3rd measure.

But you're absolutely right about frequencies. Depending on the kind of response i get from this i'm going to try and add more guitar into my songs.
