Hundreds of thousands of these creatures attacked Inkopolis on 2038 (Alliance timeline), almost destroying the city. We lost about 800k troops in the first strikes and the only effective weapons against them are napalm, which evaporate them, and cryogenic missiles, which freeze them. Our only equipment available was some M1A5 Abrams tanks, JAH-64F Super Apache helicopters, M2 Bradley APCs, a few Iowa-class battleships, about 2 complete fleets and some old WW2 weapons. The humans are giving us support. We already tried to nuke them but the nukes only halt their advance for about 5 days.

Honestly this can be a really great pitch if nintendo ever announces splatoon 3, like we could be playing octolings vs tarlings and etc
We need more fluids other than Ink. Tar and Oil can be great.
