Shoes like this run about $150 because I have to buy the shoe and then put all the hours into customizing it. But I do knock a little off the price if you provide your own shoe.
Good shoes, (personally) bad concept
I personally wouldn't have gone with this cartoon. Pretty much because I personally think that cartoons today are just shit, it's all about being as weird as possible and making as little sense as possible all while still being terribly unfunny. Of course, it's all preference (yeah that's right, so lay off the useless button, it's not fucking Youtube), if you or your Girlfriend likes it then by all means, make them.
As for the shoes, they're expertly made, be proud of em' as I'm sure your girlfriend will be. I could never be so detailed, especially on shoes.
Also, use test shoes. Get some shit shoes and experiment until you get the desired results.
