not bad
first note that this revew is mostly for the autor (as mutche if not all mi revews are)
it is kinda good, but i guess ther is a few bugs to fix. it is nice and seems to ave been inspired by morowind. the fighting mode neads a little improuvement (that's what i tink) it is vine work, but with a few fix it will be one of the dest if you want my opinion...
a few sugestions... :
(note that thees sugestions are made for you to get your gamme bather it is not made for criticasing since i relly like the consept... but it neads a little work on it and im hear to help you becose im looking forwerd to se this game at the best that it can bee... but note that it mey nead a lot of work, hope your up to the chaleng)
start by making the hero's states mor to the vew (like colored bares with the amount in them like your spells bares)
when you go shoping, try to indicat the prices of purches somewere...
and also make shur that the puches window closes when we leave the house...
also make shur that the "strenght" "magic" "missions" and "buy" butons are always doing somting... hither what they are supose to or thel ther is no missions,magic etc...
it would be good to that when your HP reaches 0 the game ends... not just when you deside to leave the room...
a save game capasity would be nice also (note that at this point i dont know the longt of the game cince i just playes 2min... its yours to judj if it is worth it or not)
next, the music is nice... but ther is a little part at the start that sounds a lot like MSN mesenger when you get a mesage... and it kinda gets on my nerves becos i alweys tink im geting a mesage...
it would be nice to if when you click on a peaceful character for the first time of the game that it would warn that your about to attack it if you do reclick it... (only once)
also it would be grate if you could add a little red glowing when you get hit... becos it's kinda hard to tell unles your watching your HP go down...
also if you kill someone in his house... notice that the shadows of is legs will stile remane... (not an important detail anyways)
for you arena mode... to make it a little more obvious, on your tutorial, 3rd text yous shuld ad push "s" buton now and also make the 4th text bot so that we can't see troug it becos its relly hard to read 2 windows at the time, i sugest puting a "next" buton directly on it to make it disapear to make it posible to se the buy window ans then circle the window's X in the upper right (you will also ave to make shur that no one can close the buy window befor presing next on the non-transparent window)and make shur that for acceding the 5th text the user as to close the buy window... (also make shur that the red sircle is on the X becos it is not right now)also puting boxes rather then red X on the buy screen would be bether. it would also be nice if wen acceding to one of thees menus (whenever in the game) it would pause the acton for both sides (player cant act on aniting but the menu screen)until you close it
also the "next buton look" shuld be a little higer and paraps riten smaler in a rectangle box (just a sugestion) you shuld also force the player to ave the right "buton look" for the next texts windows... (got to tell them eache time to clic on them...)
for combat mouvements... you shuld make the sword going towerds the player... not sidewise... becos it looks kinda unrealistic... (especialy with no red glow...)
also cheque that the sword sound stops when the gard is dead...
